When you wanna rock out in purple, we’ve got just the thing for you. The RLC Exclusive Volkswagen T1 Rockster is ready to roll.

Based on a Volkswagen T2 Transporter pickup, our rock star Rockster was designed by Phil Riehlman. “I thought it would make a great vehicle to turn into a rock-crawling, off-road beast,” he says. Phil’s customizations for the vehicle would include “a twin turbo V8 in the middle to center the weight and supply enough power to turn the big 44-inch off-road tires at any elevation, long-arm suspension with piggyback shocks, Baja bug-style snorkel scoop, dual radiators in the bed, heavy duty winch, rock rails, and lighting.” And if that’s not enough, you’ve got a spare tire mounted on the rollbar in the bed just in case.

The popular Hot Wheels vehicle was first offered as a 3-D protype from HWC in March of 2018, appearing in die-cast form a week later at the Hot Wheels Collectors Nationals as the Dinner car. Altogether, this is the fifth edition of the terrain-tramping truck.
